Achdus Directly Impacts Ending Galus

An answer to an organization that wanted to do something which could have caused some machlokes:

זה מכו”כ [=מכמה וכמה] חדשים שמרעישים ויותר מכאן ע”ד [=על דבר] ההכרח באחדות ישראל (ובהקדמת אהבת ישראל) ושלילת מחלוקת וכו’, ושזהו ביטול סיבת הגלות, ובמילא נוגע ישירות – להשים קץ לגלות ולהביא את הגאולה, וכל השתדלות האפשרית בזה מקדימה קץ הגלות, ובכ”ז [=ובכל זה] חובת כאו”א [כל אחד ואחד] הרוצה ומצפה לגאולה להשתדל (ולהזהר מהפכו).

מה כוונתם היא כו’ –

אין נפק”מ [=נפקא מינה], כי נוגע התוצאות בפו”מ [=בפועל ממש] שהן כנ”ל. לסיכום – פעולתם הנ”ל ותוצאותיה מידיות: פירוד הלבבות, היפך מהפצת אהבת ישראל, פאררייסען זיך [=לגרום לקרע וניתוק] עם רבבות מישראל וכו’, וכתוצאה מכ”ז פארשלעפען [=למשוך] קץ הגלות, ר”ל [=רחמנא ליצלן]. וכו’.

It’s a few months now that there is a big shturem being made over here about the necessity of Achdus Yisrael — unity amongst the Jewish people — (prefaced by Ahavas Yisrael — feelings of love to every Jew) and negation of any machlokes [division] amongst Jews.

This is what will nullify the cause of galus, which is sinas chinam — baseless hatred, and consequently has a direct impact on putting an end to the galus and on bringing the Geulah. Any possible effort in this direction hastens the end of galus.

Included is the obligation upon each individual who wants and awaits the Geulah, to make an effort in this direction (and to keep a distance from the opposite).

What your intentions are, etc. — make no difference. The facts after the matter are what count. The cause of activities such as which you write about will be as spelled out above, the opposite of Achdus.

To summarize: such activity as you write about and its immediate results are: machlokes, division of hearts, the opposite of spreading Ahavas Yisrael, disassociating yourself from tens of thousands of Yidden, etc;

And as a result of all this — dragging out the end of galus. May Hashem have mercy, etc.
