[It is written:] ‘A man’s steps are made firm by G‑d.’ When a Jew arrives at a particular place, this is for the purpose of doing a mitzvah, be it a mitzvah between man and man, or between man and G‑d. A Jew is an agent of [G‑d] Above, and wherever an agent is, he derives his power from the Sender. The superiority of souls over angels [in this regard] lies in the fact that [G‑d confers His agency to] the souls through the Torah.”
The summer sun’s rays made their way through the window of my room. They gently caressed my face and woke me from a sweet sleep. It was another day of activities in Camp Oro Shel Moshiach.
Shloimy knew that one of the keys to running a successful camp is to keep the campers busy: too busy to argue, too busy to fight, too busy to get bored or make trouble. He thought of what he could do to capture the boys’ interest, something meaningful…

They treasured their modesty and respected each other’s privacy, even when they were camped in temporary quarters, while living in tents…”
“We have to care about every Jew, but if someone is likely to drag you into bad things, you have to stay far away, especially if he acts like Korach – flaunting authority and stirring up quarrels. Better join up with people from whom you can learn good ways. One summer in the right or wrong surroundings can make a huge impact on a kid’s life!”
